John Brown University Enactus Team

EN•ACT•US

entrepreneurial—having the perspective to see an opportunity and the talent to create value from that opportunity;

action—the willingness to do something and the commitment to see it through even when the outcome is not guaranteed;

us—a group of people who see themselves connected in some important way; individuals that are part of a greater whole.

Our Team

We are one of 1,700 Enactus teams around the world. What sets JBU Enactus apart is that we blend our Christian faith (and the JBU mantra – “Christ Over All”) into each project. This drives us to pair a healthy entrepreneurial vision with the mission of spreading the Kingdom of God to each and every person with whom we interact.

Meeting Info

We meet every Tuesday from 4:10-5:00 PM in SBC Room 110.

Our weekly meetings involve everything from guest speakers, and team building activities, to professional skils development. Members are expected to attend every Tuesday afternoon team meeting.

Aside from meeting together as a greater team, each one of our students is involved with a project that will typically meet once a week outside of regular class time. This is where what we have learned through lectures and reading is demonstrated in a practical setting. That is what Enactus is all about.

Award Winning

Enactus provides the chance for schools from around the country to come together and share with each other their projects and impacts, and also compete for a chance to represent the United States at the Enactus World Cup. Our JBU Enactus team won 2nd place at the National Exposition in St. Louis last year following a 3rd place win for the previous year. We are grateful to have been given the chance to compete against so many amazing teams and are excited to present our most recent accomplishments from this year at the 2017 USA National Exposition!
